Meerut: Police arrest criminal after an encounter

The Uttar Pradesh Police in Meerut have arrested in an encounter a notorious criminal who was involved in more than 12 FIRs. Majid Khan was also involved in a murder case. Police officer said that they received information from a source following which the police tried to trace the criminal. In a brief encounter, Majid was arrested. He was shot in his leg.
