Mumbai: Muslims celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi

Muslims in Mumbai celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. During ten days of the festival, there are traditions and rituals that Muslims community performs during the Ganesh Chaturthi Hindu festival in Maharashtra. This year's Ganesh Chaturthi marks the 126th celebration of the festival after freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadharv Tilak called upon people in 1892 to turn the private, household festival into a gala event.
