Floral tribute to GH Krumbiegel

On the 67th Republic Day, a floral tribute was given to GH Krumbiegel, legendary gardener and one of the architects of Lalbagh. On the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary, a floral replica of the house in Germany, where the gardener spent his childhood, was installed. The floral model, spread across an area of 30X20ft and scaling up to 25ft, is made from over five lakh tiny flower pots featuring about 50 varieties of flowers.
