Former DU lecturer SAR Geelani arrested on sedition charges

Former Delhi University lecturer SAR Geelani, booked for sedition for allegedly organising an event at the Press Club of India to mark the death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, was arrested in the wee hours of Tuesday morning on sedition and other charges in connection with an event in which anti-India slogans were raised.
