Unnao, Kathua rape case: BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi hits out at oppositions for doing politics over such issues

Facing flak over Kathua and Unnao rape cases, the BJP on Friday said that the accused should be given a stringent punishment and claimed that the police acted quickly in both the matters. Defending the party ministers BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi claimed that they were 'misled' into attending the protest. Lekhi had joined a rally against the police probe in the Kathua rape and murder case. In a press conference on Friday Lekhi also accused the opposition parties of doing dangerous politics over these sensitive issues.
