Uttarakhand: Heavy rainfall throws normal life out of gear in Haldwani

Massive rainfall and flood-like situation wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand, damaging roads and bridges in several parts of the state. Normal life in Haldwani was thrown out of gear as heavy downpour continued to lash in the region. Meanwhile, rains played spoilsport with residents’ plans for Raksha Bandhan celebrations.
