New Delhi:

In a queer incident in Pakistan's Punjab province, a dog has been sentenced to death for biting a child.

As per the reports, Assistant Commissioner Raja Saleem in Bhakkar's Klor vicinity in Punjab province issued death sentence for the dog which but a child.

While putting forth a unique and a bizarre argument, Assistant Commissioner Saleem said,  "The dog injured the child, hence, it should be killed".

The dog's owner has filed an appeal with the Additional Deputy Commissioner against the unsual punishment.
