Just discharged from the post of the President of the United States, Barack Obama has been cherishing his leisure time in a quality way. The former first person of the US has been showing his athleticism on a luxury Caribbean island trying out different water sports.
Trying out some adventurous acts full of the adrenaline rush, Obama showed some great moves on the island owned by Virgin chief and philanthropist Richard Branson.
A number of pictures uploaded by Branson give us glimpses of what the Obama family was up to they visited Moskito Island, in the British Virgin Islands after Donald Trump took over the presidency from Barack Obama.
In the five pictures uploaded on Twitter, Obama is seen smiling on a speed boat wearing goggles and a helmet while trying out kitesurfing.
Revealing details on the same, Branson said that Obama was restricted from doing watersports during the presidency amid high-security protocol.
"Being the former president of America, there was lots of security around, but Barack was able to really relax and get into it," wrote Branson on Twitter describing the amount of fun Obama had on board.
Interestingly, a two-day training was given to Obama to teach him the basics to do kitesurf from the beach.
British billionaire Richard Branson bought Moskito Island in 2007 and since then he has built a luxury estate which can host 22 guests at the serene island.
