Auto Expo 2018: Tata Motors’ to unveil new sports car Tamo Racemo

Indian automobile manufacturing company Tata Motors is all set to unveil its new flagship sports car in the Indian market at the 2018 Auto Expo in New Delhi.
The vehicle was launched at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2017, where the car received a lot of positive response from the audience.
The car will be exhibited at the ‘Performance Zone’ at Tata’s Pavilion.
Tamo Racemo
The two-seat sports car comes with a mid-engine with a 1.2 litre, turbo-petrol engine which gives a maximum of 190hp at a rate of 6,500 rpm. The peak torque that the beast will give is recorded at 210 Nm at a rate of 2,500 rpm. The car gives a drive of 0-100 kmph in mere 6 seconds.

The company, after the Geneva Motor Show, cultivated a race inspired game named RACEMO, which is the first game to be made on any Indian car and available on Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 3 platform.

The Racemo is built on a patented MOFlex Multi-Material Sandwich (MMS) structure, which is a structural technology that enables greater freedom in surface design. This technology is being used for the very first time in automotive industry, as claimed by the company.
Tata Tiago Sport
Along with this, Tata Motors will also unveil the new Tiago Sport which will be Tata’s hatchback and will come with a 1.2-litre, turbo petrol engine with a mated 6-speed manual gearbox. The automobile is slated to be priced between Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh.
Tata Tigor Sport
The second flagship of the company, Tata Tigor Sport, will also be unveiled at the Auto Expo. It will be powered by Nexon’s parts bin, along with a 1.5-litre, turbo diesel engine and a mated manual gearbox.
