Hyundai Santro 2018 set to launch on October 23; know expected specs and prices
South Korean car-maker Hyundai is back with its one of best-selling car variant Santro in India. The new version is expected to launch on October 23. Hyundai will be revealing the car on October 9 next month. Hyundai is likely to showcase the car at the Auto Expo 2018. Hyundai released the first teaser sketch of its upcoming hatchback in July. Earlier, Hyundai discontinued Santro in 2014 which was in the Indian market for 16 long years. Santro helped Hyundai in making a name for itself in India. The new Santro is going to be a major competitor for Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Renault Kwid, and Tata Tiago. 6. Transmission Type: Manual Cargo Volume According to reports, the new Santro will come with driver-side airbag as standard, ample storage spaces inside the cabin. Fog lamps, alloy wheels, reverse camera and LED tail lamps are also expected as part of the car. Speaking about the audio system, Hyundai Santro gets the new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system according to reports.
