Justice Jhaveri takes charge as Chief Justice of Odisha High Court
Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri on Sunday took oath as the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of the office and secrecy to the Justice Jhaveri during the swearing-in ceremony held inside the high court premises.
The post of the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court fell vacant earlier this week after the incumbent Justice Vineet Saran was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.

The Centre on Friday had notified the appointment of Justice Jhaveri as the 30th Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
Born on 1958, Justice Jhaveri had joined the bar in 1983 and was elevated as a judge of the Gujarat High Court in March, 2004. He was the judge of Rajasthan High Court since 2016.
