Girl dies after being hit by school bus

An eight-year-old girl died after being hit by a school bus on Thursday.
Kulsum, the victim, was playing along the road in Arif Nagar area when the speeding bus hit her, said Superintendent of Police Hemant Chouhan.
The girl died on the way to hospital, he added.
As the driver fled from the spot after the incident, angry residents of the area set the bus on fire, the SP said.

There were no students inside as the bus was returning after ferrying them to the school.
Police have registered a case against the driver.
