Dy UP CM KP Maurya to order probe into major development projects of Akhilesh govt

Uttar Pradesh Dy CM and PWD Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Thursday said that his govt. will order a probe into all the major projects completed under previous SP govt amidst the reports of corruption. 

The statement came hours after Maurya assumed PWD office as a minister. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has given Keshav parsad Maurya Public Works Department, a ministry of high importannce.

The much touted Agra- Lucknow highway constructed during Akhilesh Yadav's govt will also be under Maurya's scanner. Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav in his rallies during assembly elections has promoted the highway as one of the biggest development work done by his govt.

After assuming office, Maurya chaired a meeting with PWD officials and administered an oath of working with full honesty. 

The Minister said that if he smells any thing of corruption in his analysis of previous government' work, he will order investigation.
