New learning platform for students ‘Geneo’
Geneo Uses LARA Approach I.e. Learn Concepts, Apply Concepts, Revise Concepts And Assess Learnings, Thus Offering Action-based Learning To The Students.
IL&FS Group’s social infrastructure arm, IL&FS Education & Technology Services Ltd announced the launch of ‘Geneo’, personalised digital learning platform which targets the K-12 segment. The new platform for students has been developed by IETS in technical collaboration with Google.
Geneo has received a good response from the target audience garnering about 3.5 lakhs users in less than nine months since it was launched in beta version in June 2017. Interestingly, several teachers and school management have given a thumbs up to the platform.
IETS has worked extensively with some of the leading schools in Delhi-NCR to extract relevant feedback from technical experts and users, so as to aid enhanced learning and understanding for students.
Talking about Geneo, the learning platform uses the app-cloud model to offer curated content to the students. It provides round-the-clock remote mentor support and can be accessed on mobile phones, PCs, laptops, chromebooks and tablets.
Geneo uses LARA approach i.e. Learn concepts, Apply concepts, Revise concepts and Assess learnings, thus offering action-based learning to the students.
The new platform in online education market will complement primary and secondary syllabus of schools to offer seamless quality learning. In the longer run, Geneo will be put into use to develop a life-long learning pathway for the students in the country, the company claims.
