Rajasthan Police to recruit over 5000 constables in its department in 2018
The Selection Of The Candidates Will Be Based On A Written Examination And A Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Rajasthan Police released a notification for the recruitment of Constables in the department. The department has 5390 vacancies for the position of Constables.
The Grade Pay, which depends on the category/class of the employee, for the position is mentioned to be Rs 2,400. The Pay scale ranges from Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 and the job location is Rajasthan.
The eligibility criteria for the post include Educational Qualifications, Age Limit, Selection process and Application Fee.
The Education Qualifications state that the candidate applying for the post should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board of education. Those candidates who are born between 02-01-1995 (January 2, 1995) and 01-01-2000 (January 1, 2000) are the ones who are eligible.
The selection of the candidates will be based on a Written Examination and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The application fee for General/Unreserved category (UR)/ OBC candidates is Rs 426, while the fee for SC/ST candidates of the Rajasthan Domicile is Rs 376. The fee can be paid through an e-kiosk or Common Service Centre.
The starting date for application is 23-10-2017 (October 23, 2017) while the last date for application is 25-12-2017 (December 25, 2017). Interested candidates can apply online on Rajasthan Police website.
