Rajasthan to suspend mobile internet services to on July 14, 15
Rajasthan will suspend mobile internet services for two consecutive days to prevent cheating in the upcoming Police constable examinations, according to reports.
Around 15 lakhs candidates for more than 13,000 posts are expected to appear in the Rajasthan Police Constable Exam, 2018, which will be held on July 14 and 15 at 664 centres.
The Rajasthan police had taken permission from the government to suspend internet services in a radius of five kilometre from all examination centres, the reports said adding no candidates will be allowed to carry mobile phones to the exam centres.
ADG Rajeev Sharma said guidelines were also mentioned in the admit cards and candidates are expected to follow them.
“The Police headquarters had communicated to Rajasthan Roadways and Railways to make additional arrangements for transportation of candidates appearing in the exam to ensure that people don’t face inconvenience,” Sharma added.
