BJP releases fifth list of 11 candidates, fields Pradeep Chaudhary from Kairana

While Pradeep Choudhary Will Contest From Kairana, Bhola Singh Will Fight From Bulandshahr (SC) And Dr Yeshwant From Nagina (SC).

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its fifth list of 11 candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Out of 11 names in the list, six are from Telangana, three from Uttar Pradesh and one each from Kerala and West Bengal. 

Those who have been fielded from Telangana are - Soyam Babu Rao from Adilabad (ST), S. Kumar from Peddapalle, Banala Laxma Reddy from Zahirabad, Dr. Bhagwanth Rao from Hyderabad, B Janardhan Reddy from Chevella, Vasudev Rao from Khammam.

The ruling party has also named three candidates from Uttar Pradesh. While Pradeep Choudhary will contest from Kairana, Bhola Singh will fight from Bulandshahr (SC) and Dr Yeshwant from Nagina (SC).

The other two names in the list are K Surendran from Pathanamthitta of Kerala and Mafuja Khatun from Jangipur of West Bengal. With these names, the BJP has so far declared names of 249 candidates for the ensuing general elections. 

The BJP has already announced names of 28 candidates for Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections. Among the prominent names in the list are Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Varanasi), Home Minister Rajnath Singh (Lucknow), Nitin Gadkari (Nagpur), Ravi Shankar Prasad (Patna Sahib), Smriti Irani (Amethi) and General Vijay Kumar Singh (Ghaziabad).

Some of the sitting MPs were also denied tickets by the BJP. Shatrughan Sinha (Patna Sahib), Bandaru Dattatreya (Secunderabad) and Bijoya Chakravarty (Gauhati) were some of them.  

Meanwhile, Bihar's ruling NDA has announced candidates for 39 out of the total 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state. The lone seat for which a candidate was not announced was Khagaria.

The announcement was made at a joint press conference addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state-in-charge Bhupinder Yadav here in the presence of leaders from the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan will not contest from Hajipur seat, the party has fielded Paswan's younger brother Pasupati Kumar Paras, a Bihar Minister and state LJP president, in his place.

Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag will contest from Jamui, while another brother Ram Chandra Paswan is being fielded from the Samastipur seat that he won in 2014.
