Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde REVEALS how she will spend her prize money

Popular small screen actress Shilpa Shinde not only lifted the winner’s trophy of Bigg Boss 11 but also won millions of hearts. The Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain star with her calm and composed nature earned love from all the corners.

The Marathi Mulgi is currently entertaining the audience as Googly Devi along with Sunil Grover in Dhan Dhana Dhan. The Mayaka actress has managed to tickle the funny bone of the viewers with her comic timing.

Grapevines were buzzing with the rumours that Shilpa Shinde would purchase a new house for herself with the prize money of Bigg Boss 11. A report in Indian Express suggested that the beautiful actress bought a house in Malad but it wasn’t with the prize money she received from the makers of BB11.

 “I had bought it with my earnings that were released by producers of Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain just before I was offered Bigg Boss. I made the payment and went to the Bigg Boss house. So, a lot of paperwork I finished once I came out. In fact, now I feel that maybe this is why people thought that I bought the house from the prize money’’, Shilpa Shinde told the leading daily.

When asked what she planned to do with the prize money, Shilpa told Indian Express, ''I always had thought that if I ever win the show, I will only use the prize money for other people, in my dad’s memory. And now that I have won it, I want to make a place for old people. Actually, I have realised all that old people want from you is that they want to talk. And in our busy lives and work, we barely get any time for a freewheeling chat with our folks.”

The Chidiya Ghar actress said that the idea came from her own personal experience after she interacted with elder people. Shilpa Shinde told the leading daily that she wanted to create a creche for old people where the working adults can send their parents.

She further added that the elderly would meet like-minded people of their own age group and discuss, chat and play games.  The Bigg Boss 11 winner revealed that she had decided to use the prize money for the same.

It is indeed a very noble gesture on part of Shilpa Shinde and we wish her all the luck.
