Taking to Instagram, the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actor shared pictures of ‘Sui Dhaaga-fying’ Mumbai streets. The actor said that yarn bombing is a rich street art where a city’s iconic spot gets covered by embroidered and crocheted work. Anushka feels that this is one of the most creative ways to promote a film. Along with the visual appeal, this also highlights the hard work and skills of the craftsmen. The feeling of Make in India spirit is boosted by this ‘Sui Dhaaga’ marketing strategy.
Varun too felt the zeal of yarn bombing in the ‘most amazing city in the world – Mumbai’, extremely amazing. The proud moment sinks in when the city bears a tribute to the film’s exceptionally talented artisans and craftsmen who are honoured across the globe.
As the Supreme Court decriminalised Section 377, Anushka posted a ‘Sui Dhaaga’ promotional picture with Varun to show her support on the verdict. The ‘Judwaa 2’ actor too posted a picture on Instagram with a caption, “It’s a 🌈 day. Bye bye #sec377. #yarnbombing outside wilson college.”
