After her stellar performance in movies such as Masaan, actor Richa Chadha is set to join the cast of director in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's next Panga. She will be joined by Pankaj Tripathi for the upcoming biopic movie. The two actors, who will be seen together in the upcoming biopic of South star Shakeela also joins Kangana Ranaut, Neena Gupta and Jassie Gill.
Panga is backed by Fox Star Studios, and revolves around "a family who laughs, cries, dreams together and remains by your side to make your dream come true". To announce her role for the upcoming movie, Chadda took to Instagram and also posted her childhood photo with her family.

Director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's also welcomed the actor on the project and wrote on Twitter, "I admire her as an actor and as a human who has so much depth in her."

Tripathi also posted a family picture on the micro-blogging site and wrote, "While I'm blessed to have my family, I'm excited to be a part of my new #Panga family."
The screenplay of the film and dialogues are penned by the director himself alongside Nikhil Mehrotra.
Panga is scheduled to release next year.
