Gully Boy first look OUT: Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer to hit silver screens on THIS date

Movie buffs are in for a treat as Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are all set to collaborate for 'Gully Boy'. The upcoming film has been making ever since the makers announced the project.

Fans have not been able to control their excitement to see the two strong actors on the silver screen. Considering their cute chemistry in an advertisement for a travel portal, a lot of expectations are riding on their shoulders.

Both the stars shared the first look of their characters in the Zoya Akhtar directorial on social media. Interestingly, Alia and Ranveer look quite different in the de-glam look.

The 'Highway' actress can be seen wearing a hijaab on her head while the 'Baajrao Mastani' star is dressed in a hoodie.

You need to mark your calendars as the musical drama will hit the silver screens on valentine's day next year i.e. February 14, 2019. The makers of the film have opted for the best release date considering the theme.

Gully Boy is based on the life of the rappers from the slums in Mumbai as per media reports. Ranveer who is playing the role of a street rapper in the much-awaited film has been working hard to get the correct look.

The handsome actor who is fresh on the success of Padmaavat recently shared a picture where he can be seen in a leaner avatar. The 'Band Baja Bharat' star is leaving no stone unturned to do justice to his role and is busy meeting artists.

Ranveer Singh has previously been part of Zoya Akhtar's directorial venture 'Dil Dhadakne Do' which also featured Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. Alia Bhatt who done character oriented roles in 'Highway', 'Love You Zindagi' is working with the 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaraa' for the first time.

Both Ranveer and Alia have proved their acting prowess in their movies and found their sweet spot in Bollywood. The two actors have managed to earn rave reviews in their respective films, be it Padmaavat or Udta Punjab.
