New Delhi:

Speculations over Sara Ali Khan's big Bollywood debut isn't a new thing in B-town now. The star kid Sara has been director's favorite for a while and has also been considered for some big projects much before she entered the showbiz industry.

So far it was reported that the Pataudi princess will enter the industry with Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh.

However, looks like destiny has a different plan for the lady as according to the recent updates, it isn't Simmba, but Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath that will mark Sara's debut in Bollywood.

Yes! It's true.

Also starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kedarnath has finally got its release date and will hit the screens on November 30 this year.

The announcement was made by director Abhishek Kapoor who took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news.

He wrote, "We clean up pretty nice. 30th nov it is. #savethedate everyone #jaibholenath 🙏🙏#rsvp @RonnieScrewvala @pragyadav_  @gitspictures #kedarnath #kedarnaththemovie @itsSSR #saraalikhan".

Interestingly, Kedarnath was the first movie signed by Sara and was said to be her launching pad in the industry. However, the movie got stuck in a controversy after producers KriArj Productions accused Abhishek Kapoor of unprofessional behaviour and mismanagement. Things got worse with time which eventually led to delay in the release of Kedarnath.

But looks like both the parties have resolved the issue and have jointly brought the movie back on track.

"After the dust settled down, both Abhishek and the producers realised they were personally invested in the film and did not want to hamper it in any way. Both parties sat down and resolved their issue," a source reportedly told Mid-Day.

Interestingly, amidst the producer-director rift, Sara was roped in for Simmba along with Ranveer. Produced by Karan Johar, Simmba will release on December 28 this year.

With two big movies releasing within a month's time, it is indeed a big opportunity for Sara to leave a mark on the audience. Now it will be interesting to see whether Kedarnath or Simmba will have a roll at the box office.
