Arjun Reddy remake: SOTY 2 actress Tara Sutaria to STAR opposite Shahid Kapoor?
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Padmaavat, is all set to play the titular role in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. The plot of the flick will focus on a medical student who falls for his junior.
The cast and crew of the film would start their shooting from next month, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror. “The film is scheduled to go on the floors in July and the team is looking for an actress opposite Shahid at the moment. While the locations are yet to be finalised, the plan is to shoot in India as well as abroad’’, a source had told the daily.
It seems the makers have finally found their leading lady for their film. Tara Sutaria, who will make her silver screen debut with Student Of The Year 2, will play the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor, a report in Pinkvilla said.
Interestingly, Tara’s first film will release on November 23, 2018 and she has already bagged her second film. The beautiful actress is currently busy shooting for SOTY 2 in Dehradun along with Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday.
Shahid Kapoor recently shared a selfie with the producers of the film Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde and director Sandeep Vanga on social media.
