This was not the first time the Chinese Army intruded into the Indian borders. Earlier on August 14, the PLA troops had entered 400 meters deep inside the Demchok sector of eastern Ladakh and set up five tents there.
This came amid the reports of Chinese troops quietly resuming their construction activities in Doklam plateau – a triangular territory in Sikkim sector – that had become the unlikely scene of the India-China imbroglio last year.
