India, Pakistan to hold DGMO-level talks today, to discuss BAT, infiltration bids
The armies of India and Pakistan are set to hold DGMO (Director General of Military Operations)-level talks on Tuesday, news agency ANI reported. During the talks, Indian Army will lodge a strong protest over the recent killing of its jawans in an attack by the Border Action Team (BAT) near the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian Army will also raise the issue of use of the territories of Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) for propagating terrorist activities and also its infiltration bids.
On October 21, the sector commanders of Indian and Pakistani armies had met in Poonch where India had issued a stern warning to Pakistan against sending terrorists to the Indian soil.
