Kathua Rape Case: Bollywood starts campaign for justice to eight-year-old victim
Stars Like Sonam Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, Richa Chadha, Vishal Dadlani, Konkona Sen Sharma, Swara Bhaskar, Gul Panag And Others Have Started An Online Campaign Expressing Their Thoughts By Holding A Placard, Demanding Justice For The Victim In Kathua And Unnao Case.
Bollywood has come forward to demand justice for the eight-year old minor victim, who was brutally gang raped and killed in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir.
Demands for death penalty to the rapists has been growing following the nationwide outrage.
Earlier, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi supported Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehmbooba Mufti’s statement to bring a law, making death penalty compulsory for those who rape minors.
Stars like Sonam Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, Richa Chadha, Vishal Dadlani, Konkona Sen Sharma, Swara Bhaskar, Gul Panag and others have started an online campaign expressing their thoughts by holding a placard, demanding justice for the victim in Kathua and Unnao case.
This move will only unite the country more which is calling for stern action against the accused behind the heinous incident.
