7.50 am: Lalremsiami, a member of Indian women's team which won FIH Series Finals hockey tournament in Hiroshima on Sunday, was received at her village in Kolasib district in Mizoram, on Tuesday. Lalremsiami lost her father to heart attack on Friday but stayed with her team to play finals on Sunday.

7.40 am: An exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces is underway in forests of Tral area of Pulwama district.

OP Singh, BJYM Pres, Howrah says, "In Mamata Banerjee's rule we've seen Grand Trunk Road & other main roads are blocked on Fridays for namaz. Patients die,eople can't go to office on time. As long as it continues,we'll recite Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays on all main roads near Hanuman temples."

7 am: President Donald Trump’s chief of protocol, Sean Lawler, is leaving the administration ahead of Trump’s departure for the Group of 20 summit meeting in Japan. A senior administration official says Lawler, who holds the rank of ambassador at the State Department, is leaving amid a probe of his management of staff.

6.50 am: Demolition of 'Praja Vedike' building is underway in Amaravati. The building was constructed by the previous government led by N Chandrababu Naidu.
