Lok Sabha Elections 2019: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee hints at grand coalition
A Confident Mamata Banerjee Affirmed That She Maintains Good Relations With Some But Not All.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday hinted at an all-party front to challenge the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
A confident Mamata Banerjee affirmed that she maintains good relations with all the major players.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave East, Banerjee said that she is already in touch with many opposition leaders.
“Even within the BJP, I maintain good relations with some people but not with all the people,” said a confident Mamata.
"It is our duty to raise our voice whenever public faces any problem. At present, we are all working together and I believe in collective leadership," said Banerjee.
This is not the first time that Mamata Banerjee has been vocal about opposing Narendra Modi and Amit Shah led BJP.
The West Bengal CM has been at the forefront of opposing the Modi government on major issues including demonetization and GST.
