Manohar Parrikar to remain Goa CM, changes in cabinet soon, says Amit Shah
Manohar Parrikar will remain as Goa’s Chief Minister and there will soon be changes in his council of ministers, said BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday.
Shah said on Twitter that the decision was taken after discussions with the BJP’s “core teamâ€.
Parrikar is undergoing treatment for pancreatic ailment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in News Delhi. He is admitted in the old private ward under the supervision of Pramod Garg from the Department of Gastroenterology.Â
Parrikar, 62, was flown to the national capital owing to his declining health. He had returned from the US in the first week of September, days after which he was admitted to a hospital at Candolim in north Goa. Earlier this year, he had undergone a three-month-long treatment in the US.Â
