Northern Railways PRS system to remain closed for three hours on July 29-30
The Northern Railways’ computerised passenger reservation system (PRS) will remain closed for three hours on July 29-30, Railway sources said. The services will be temporarily suspended from 11:45 pm to 02:45 am on the intervening night of July 29-July 30, according to a statement from the Railways on Friday. All the PRS system –ticket reservation activities, passenger enquiry helpline No 139 and online ticketing would be affected during the closure hours, the Railways stated.
Also Read | Train services affected in Asansol division The suspension is a part of a routine work for upgrading the system, a Railway official said. Consequently, passenger reservation terminal over the Northern Railway would remain affected during the period, he added.
