Vaishno Devi pilgrim dies of heart attack in Jammu and Kashmir
A 58-year-old woman pilgrim from Rajasthan died after falling unconscious while she was en route to the cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Wednesday, police said.
Ramjanki Bain, a resident of Kota district of Rajasthan, was on her way to the shrine when she suddenly collapsed after losing consciousness near the Thanda nalla, they said.

She was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead by doctors, an official said.
The body would be handed over to the family members after completion of legal formalities, he said, adding that reports suggested that she had died after suffering a heart attack.
