BCCI Payments: Bhuvneshwar Kumar highest paid; Ravi Shastri bags Rs. 2.05 crore as advance payment

Star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar emerged as the highest paid in the Indian cricket team while coach Ravi Shastri bagged a massive Rs 2.05 crore as advance payment as the Board of Control for Cricket of India (BCCI) on Sunday released details of all payments for Indian cricket players and coach. The payment includes the prize money, match money for the South Africa tour and Nidahas Trophy.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli took home Rs 1,25,04,964 as payment for India’s tour of South Africa and a taxable amount of ICC Test ranking prize. Whereas, Kohli’s second in command in the shorter format of the game, Rohit Sharma bagged Rs 1,42,08,405 for the same.

Star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar scooped a sweet Rs 3,73,06,631, which is the highest payment in the team.
