After experiencing a tough One-day International series against England, Indian wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set for a fresh beginning after leaving back all the criticism and slacking behind.
The former Indian skipper was criticised by fans as well as the pundits for not being able to accelerate the innings when the team needed him to.
But the 37-year-old former Indian skipper has left behind his patchy form as well as his white-beard look as he was spotted with a fresh clean-shaven look in a photograph posted by Indian spinner Akshar Patel on micro-blogging platform Twitter.
Here is what Akshar Patel posted:
Taking all the positivity and happiness shared with these beautiful people along with me. Adios England, until next time 👋 pic.twitter.com/boRrriKB0w— Akshar patel (@akshar2026) July 18, 2018
Earlier during the England vs India bilateral ODI series, Gautam Gambhir took a jibe at MS Dhoni’s white-beard look.
"MS Dhoni looks 5-10 years older than he is at the moment and I think someone needs to tell him that he is looking older than he is. I think he is pretty much very fit, on the ground he is quick, he is as fit as any other youngster. I think the look makes him far older than he is," Gambhir had said after the second ODI against England.
Well, now the 'old' Dhoni look is a past!
