Mother’s Day is celebrated to honour every mother and her influence in one’s family and in the whole society.
Mother’s Day was first celebrated in 1908 after Anna Jarvis held a special memorial to honour her mother at St Andrew’s Methodist Church in Grafton in West Virginia.
This special day is celebrated to remember, thank and appreciate mother’s role in one’s life as they play an extremely vital role of sportspersons, sometimes as a supporter, sometimes as a teacher and sometimes as a critic or fan, or sometimes as a mother.
