Bengaluru FC wrapped up their 2018 tour of Spain with a 3-0 defeat in the hands of FC Barcelona B at the Mini Estadi in Barcelona, Spain on August 15, 2018. The Blues were cautious in their approach in the early minutes of the first half as the Spanish outfit attacked in their usual possession-based style. The Indian club showed great resilience as they were compact in shape and defended extremely well.

Bengaluru FC worked hard off the ball ad threw Barcelona B on the back foot with successive chances around the 20-minute mark.
Skipper Sunil Chhetri was at his usual best as he created a goal-scoring chance for Miku, but was denied by a reflex save from Ezkeita. A few minutes later, the Indian skipper fired a left volley just wide of the post.
FC Barcelona B upped their game in the second half as they went 2-0 up in just seven minutes around the hour mark.

Monchu opened the scoring for Barca B with a screamer from distance in the 55th minute followed by a cool Carles Perez finish from a narrow-angle in the 62nd minute.
Perez doubled his tally in the 73rd minute as the hosts completely took advantage off a fatigued Bengaluru FC backline.
Few half chances fell for Bengaluru following a bunch of changes in the final quarter, but Barcelona B managed to bag the victory with a 3-0 scoreline.
A total of 23 players were utilised by coach Carles Cuadrat as the Blues played four friendly games in their 2018 tour of Spain.
Bengaluru FC return to India on August 16 and is set to host Altyn Asyr FK in the first leg of the AFC Cup Inter-Zone semi-final at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on August 22.
