Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly offered a mega-contract by Manchester United to bring him back to Old Trafford.
According to reports, Ronaldo is frustrated with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. Apparently, the Bernabeu chief did not sanction a new contract for the 33-year-old superstar. Manchester United have offered a massive 26.2 million pound a year to mark his return to the Theatre of Dreams.
The current Ballon d’Or winner’s season started terribly when he was suspended for five games after pushing a referee in Spanish Super Cup. His suspension was followed by his goal drought during the first half of the season during which Real Madrid slipped well off in their title defence.
The Portugal forward has found his form back in the second half of the season, especially in the Champions League. He has scored 12 times in just eight Champions League matches, and scored 37 goals in all competitions in 35 games.
