Nokia 6.1 Plus vs Oppo R17 Pro; Specifications, features compared
Nokia launched its first smartphone with a notch display in India earlier this week. Nokia 6.1 Plus runs on Google’s Android One platform. It is the latest mid-range segment smartphone from Nokia. Based on specifications and features HMD Global’s Nokia 6.1 Plus competes with the newly launched Oppo R17 Pro which has the latest in-display fingerprint sensor. The main highlight of the R17 Pro appears to be a triple rear camera setup, similar to the one seen on the Huawei P20 Pro launched earlier this year. It is powered by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB. Nokia 6.1 Plus packs a 3,060mAh battery with quick charge support. In terms of camera, Nokia 6.1 Plus spots a dual-camera setup which comprises of a 16-megapixel f/2.0 camera and a 5-megapixel f/2.0 snapper. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. Nokia 6.1 Plus also comes with the company’s trademark feature which lets users shoot from the rear and front cameras at the same time. The smartphone has 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery that is powered by Oppo’s proprietary Super VOOC technology.
On the camera front, Oppo R17 Pro has a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.5-2.4 aperture, a 20-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.6, and a third sensor that is actually a TOF 3D stereo camera. As of now, there is no clarity on what the third lens is meant for.
