Samsung finally launches Galaxy Note5 in India at Rs 51,400

Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy Note5 dual-SIM is in Indian markets. The South Korean giant has launched its flagship device last year in other parts of the globe. The new device comes with dual-nano sim support.

The new Note 5 will be available in in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium color variants and it is priced Rs 51,400 for the 32BG. The company will also soon roll out the 64GB version for Rs 57,400.

The new device is available for users in the Samsung’s store in India.   

The new Galaxy Note5 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen that supports the company's proprietary S Pen stylus and powered by Samsung's 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor, with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The devices will not support any external micro SD cards. It features Android 5.1 Lollipop with a new optimised version of Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer.

On camera it has 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and videos. The device sports a 3,000mAh battery that supports fast-charging on wireless as well as wired chargers.

It also has integrated fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor.

In terms of connectivity, the latest Samsung phablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO(2x2), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, microUSB 2.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and 4G LTE Cat 9 / LTE Cat 6 (differs by market) options.
