Mumbai:
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who constructed an illegal ramp outside his posh bungalow ‘Mannat’ here, has paid Rs 1.93 lakh as cost of demolition to the municipal authorities, an RTI query has revealed.
RTI activist Anil Galgali said he had sought information from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) about action taken on the illegally constructed RCC ramp outside the bungalow by Shah Rukh.
Galgali sought information about the cost incurred and payment received if any.
In a reply, the BMC’s Assistant Engineer (Inspection) of Bandra H West ward said that the actor made the payment of Rs 1,93,784 vide a cheque issued on Citibank on March 11 last year to close the issue.
