New Delhi :
In another controversial statement, Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap on Friday called Ishrat Jahan Bihar's daughter. The remark came a day after terror mastermind David Coleman Headley said she was a LeT suicide bomber.
This remarks come at a time which the BJP is demanding an apology from Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar for reportedly calling her the same in 2004 after she died in an encounter.
Union minister Giriraj Singh claimed Nitish Kumar had compromised on national security and said the Bihar CM trying to gain political mileage over Ishrat's death.
BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain, said those who earlier called Ishrat, Bihar’s daughter should now make their stand clear after Headley’s claims.
On Thursday, Headley in his deposition in a Mumbai court via telelink from his US prison said 19-year-old Ishrat Jahan was a Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist who was killed in an encounter on June 15, 2004.
