Would you believe if we tell that a dog and a bitch married through Hindu rituals. Moreover, as much as 5,000 guests attended the event. It sounds a bit unrealistic but it’s true. In a village at district Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh, a dog and a bitch were married to each other following complete Hindu rituals.
A crowd of as much as 5000 villagers joined the Baraat ceremony of the Dog, while the owners of the bitch were recorded crying at Bidai.
The three minute video posted by the news agency ANI shows some amusing images, where a mob of thousands of villagers is seen dancing in happiness. The 'groom' Shagun belonged to Basant Tripathy, while the 'bride' Shaguniya belonged to Jung Bahadur. The guests also received lavish treatment as Indian cuisine was served to the attendees, who came for the wedding.
Also, it shows the Jai Mala ceremony being held between the bride and the groom. The video is a must watch.
