New Delhi:

The World Culture Festival organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living Foundation was hit by rain and hailstorm, following which the yoga session which was to be held on Saturday morning had to be cancelled. Water-logging has covered the entire venue, making it difficult for visitors to walk or park their vehicles.

The situation is turning worse given the fact that the event is being held on the banks of river Yamuna. This has become a cause of concern for the organisers, who are already worried about how to make the event a success.

News Nation visits the venue and brings to you the ground report and the situation at the event, which kicked off on Friday despite rains. Prime Minister too made it to the venue and inaugurated the event on Friday evening.

The three-day event which features artists from across the world will end on Sunday. The World Culture Festival was surrounded by controversy for allegedly flouting environmental rules.
