Music composer turned actor Himesh Reshammiya has managed to survive with Teraa Surroor’s fair Box Office collection on Day 1. Minting figures just above Rs 1 crore, the film received mixed reviews from the audiences.
Film director Shwan Arranha has claimed earning of Rs 1.79 crores on the release day. With no other big release this week, it is expected that the film will take a cake walk to recover its production cost.
The total cost of production for the film is about Rs 6.5 crores. And, it is expected that with already being praised music, television, internet, DVD and theatrical rights, the film will end up being a profit making project for the makers.
The film has been packaged in a manner that brings commercial success with an ease. Though there are very limited audiences who would prefer to spend money on this but Himesh Reshammiya comes with a dedicated set of fan following, and there expectation are well taken care off.
Amid mixed response from the critics, Teraa Surroor released worldwide on March 11, 2016.
