News of cricket legend Wasim Akram made rounds on twitter after he was seen being ‘heckled’ at live TV. At time of post-match coverage on a news channel, Wasim Akram was talking to the channel trough live feed from Mumbai.
While Wasim Akram was answering to a question from the anchor, some people interrupted the show. The anchor and the other panellist had no clue about what happened to Akram. The Pakistnai cricketer was heard saying……. ‘arre arre’. The anchor said that he hopes everything is right. The footage sent chills to the fans who were watching the live show.
Some of the news portals without even confirming went on to write the news that Wasim has been heckled, which wasn’t the truth. The anchor later took to social media to clarify that Mr. Wasim Akram is safe and the people were only objecting the camera placement at that particular place. (Also read. Hours before this, Mr. Wasim Akram has posted that he would not indulge in any activities at that day in wake of merciless attack on his country. “Due to this merciless attack in my country, I have ceased all work commitments tonight. My heart is with my hometown. Stay strong” Wasim Akram had tweeted.
