Children of slain National Investing Agency office Tanzil Ahmed have made shocking revelations about the incident. The children who witnessed the incident in front of their eyes said that the assailants shot their father for about three minutes while they were sitting on the back seat.
“We were on the back seat of the car. They fired at Papa till the time he didn’t die. They fired at him for around three-four minutes” said on of the two children on camera.
Ahmed was shot dead while his wife was injured by bike-borne assailants in UP's Bijnor. The officer, Tanzil Ahmad was returning while he along with his family was returning from the wedding of a relative in the wee hours here.
Tanzil Ahmad along with his wife and children was returning from a wedding when the attack took place. “He along with his wife was returning from the wedding of his niece when two unidentified bike-borne persons stopped his car and shot at him. He was declared dead at a nearby hospital,” Rajkumar, SHO, Bijnor, said.
His wife sustained injuries in the attack and has been admitted to a hospital in Noida. As per PTI, official had gone to his home town Bijnor to attend the wedding. Police are investigating the matter.
