Pop diva Mariah Carey will be honoured at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York next month. The “Hero” star will receive the Ally Award for her support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.
Director Lee Daniels will present his Precious leading lady with her accolade at the Waldorf Astoria New York on May 14, reported Billboard.
Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is hosting the event, at which actor Robert De Niro will also receive the Excellence in Media Award.
