Taking a jibe at the Congress Party over reports that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra might be heading the election campaign for next year's Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP said it shows that vice-president Rahul Gandhi had failed in all aspects.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that in the Congress 'family is the party' and that the hunt for leadership is also limited to the Gandhi family and they won’t look beyond the Gandhis’. If Rahul had succeeded that there would not have been called Priyanka," he added.
According to reports, the Congress has finally decide to draft Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to head its election campaign for next year's Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Priyanka will lead over 150 rallies in UP in next six months.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, though Priyanka did not move out of Rae Bareli and Amethi, she took regular swipes at the campaign speeches of Narendra Modi in different parts of the country.
