PM Narendra Modi extends greeting on Guru Purnima

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on today extended his greetings to the nation on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

Through social media Prime Minister Modi greeted the nation and said “Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima,”.

Guru Purnima is a festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers. The day of full moon, Purnima, in the month of Ashadh of the Hindu calendar is traditionally celebrated as Guru Purnima.

The celebration is marked by ritualistic respect to the guru, Guru Puja.
