Alia Bhatt just did the best thing anyone could to promote Akshay Kumar’s Rustom which is just a day away from its official release (August12). What’s more surprising here is the way Alia chose to promote the actor’s upcoming by dancing on one of his most famous songs “Tip Tip Barsa Paani” starring Raveena Tondon and Akshay Kumar.
From Rajnikanth to Salman Khan big faces of the film industry have already poured in their best wishes and spread the word of promotion for Akshay’s Rustom. Alia in her own unique way took Raveena’s Tip Tip Barsa Paani and danced in the same yellow saree to recreate the magic of 90s hotness.
This series of promotional videos is not new, earlier Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan have also done it the same way.
Akshay’s upcoming Rustom is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. Rustom is based on real-life incident of naval officer K M Nanavati, who was tried for the murder of his wife’s lover.
