Bollywood’s two biggest movies of 2016, Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro and Akshay Kumar’s Rustom, have hit theatres simultaneously today leaving the audience spoilt for choice. The clash of the bollywood titans is currently the talk of the tinsel town.
Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro
Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan is a period based drama of the time of Indus Valley civilisation. The movie is directed by Jodha Akbar fame Ashutosh Gowariker. Hrithik has undergone special training for the action sequences in the film.
The movie showcases the period of 2600 BC. It is about an orphan boy who falls in love with a girl (Pooja Hegde) whose father had killed the hero’s family in his vicious past. What will happen when the orphan boy will discover the truth?
Akshay Kumar’s Rustom
The Akshay Kumar starrer movie is based on the real life incident of Nanavati Murder Case. Rustom is a thriller murder mystery movie. Ileana D’cruz and Esha Gupta are the lead actresses in the movie. Rustom is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and is produced by Neeraj Pandey. Music has been given by Ankit Tiwari.
Akshay has portrayed the role of a Navy Officer who shoots a person and surrenders himself. Besides, Akshay and Neeraj have worked together in “Special 26” and “Baby” before. Both the movies were successful at Box office.
